Job Description / Desired Qualifications:
Schedule project activities (date, time, sequence) for the Nuclear or Engineering Projects organizations.
Perform schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera scheduling tools.
Assist various project managers in developing schedules for on-line, outage projects and life-cycle schedules.
Sr Project Scheduler: including Enterprise Risk projects
The purpose of this position is to deliver a timely, coherent, comprehensive, and accurate set of schedules for assigned projects.
Schedule Descriptions: 4 days x 10 hours
Principal Accountabilities:
Develop detailed schedule development for assigned projects to ensure Technical Specification and Maintenance Rule compliance and properly manage risk in a manner consistent with station procedures, processes, and goals.
Assist in the upkeep of lifecycle project schedules
Maintain schedule integrity.
Develop and implement scheduling methodology based on industry best practice.
Support the Biennial refueling outage for project scheduling.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 5 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or technical project management: OR,
Associates degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 7 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or technical project management: OR,
High school diploma or GED and 9 years of nuclear power generation experience in a journey level craft, qualified watch station, field engineer or Quality Control position within operations, maintenance, engineering, or quality assurance.
Senior Project Scheduler Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 8 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or technical project management: OR,
Associates degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 10 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or technical project management: OR,
High school diploma or GED and 12 years of nuclear power generation experience in a journey level craft, qualified watch station, field engineer or Quality Control position within operations, maintenance, engineering, or quality assurance.
Desired Education and Experience:
Reactor Operator License
Individual must be proficient in work management and outage work processes and procedures.
Proficiency with Passport or similar Work Management software programs and interfaces with scheduling systems.
Primavera Training Certification (or equivalent), Passport to Primavera scheduling program interface.
Working knowledge of report development software (Crystal Reports) and database analysis.
PMP certification.
Senior Project Scheduler Desired Education and Experience:
SRO License or Certification
Individual must have advanced knowledge in work management and outage work processes and procedures.
Advanced knowledge of the Passport program and database, including the interface to the Primavera scheduling program.
Advanced knowledge of the Primavera scheduling program and basic scheduling techniques.
Primavera 106 Training Certification or four years of experience using Primavera Scheduling software.
Working knowledge of report development software (Crystal Reports) and database analysis.
Working knowledge of the outage risk management and on-line risk management software (Paragon).
PMP certification.
Working knowledge of management techniques (e.g., situational leadership, performance management, time management, etc.).
Required abilities and skills:
Primavera 106 Training Certification (or equivalent), Passport to Primavera scheduling program interface, understanding of Preventative Maintenance (PM) Program, risk management processes and Crystal report writing, or similar SQL based query reports are desired skills.
Good knowledge of work control processes and procedures, knowledgeable on effects of isolating, testing, and restoring plant systems and equipment.
Experience with Passport or similar Work Management software programs and interfaces with scheduling systems.

Effective communication skills and ability to communicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing.
Coordinate with Operations to determine the scope of tagging system boundaries and conduct critical path analysis of schedules.
Lead schedule review meetings and the interface between work groups.
Lead post work critiques.
Demonstrated ability to maximize performance through leadership is highly desired.
Crystal report writing or similar SQL based query reports.
