Immediate W2 contract position available in Atlanta, GA. Estimated Duration: 5 months
Schedule: Monday-Friday, normal business hours. Location: This is an in-office position. The candidate will need to reside within a commutable distance of job location. Up to 20% travel with overnight stay.

Administer, support, and optimize network detection and response (NDR) sensors and network packet capture infrastructure.
Perform daily system monitoring, log review, and health checks to ensure availability and integrity.
Execute hardware lifecycle activities, including upgrades, replacements, and vendor-recommended updates.
Engineer and maintain resilient security infrastructure to ensure sustainability and reliability.
Troubleshoot new and unfamiliar operational issues independently.
Collaborate with detection engineering, network infrastructure, and other teams to ensure configurations meet business requirements and data accuracy standards.
Develop automation, processes, and procedures to improve operational efficiency and solution optimization.
Support security research, assessments, presentations, and industry collaboration efforts.
Job Qualifications Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 3+ years of experience in system administration and operational support.
Production experience supporting enterprise applications, systems, and server hardware.
Working knowledge of computer networking concepts, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, NetFlow, and system logging.
Experience with Python, Linux CLI, Unix shell scripting, and REST APIs.
Ability to analyze complex security problems and design effective solutions based on threat, vulnerability, and attack‑vector knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and share knowledge with team members. 7. Valid state driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Zeek‑based network detection and response (NDR) platforms.
Experience with network packet broker or packet aggregation hardware.
Strong understanding of current and emerging cybersecurity technologies.
Experience with network administration and Cisco CLI commands.
Familiarity with information security frameworks and compliance standards.
Relevant technical cybersecurity certification(s)
