Immediate W2 contract position available in Forest Park, GA. Estimated Duration: 2 years
Job Description / Desired Qualifications:
The Drafter 3 position requires 7-10 years of drafting experience.
An associate’s degree in drafting and design is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Working with 2D and 3D CAD to develop models and/or 2D drawings based on information provided by designers and engineers.
Revising existing 2D drawings to support plant retrofit projects.
Supporting with plant-site walkdowns to obtain field data and dimensional information for design purposes.
Required Skillsets and Expertise:
Experience using CAD software and design tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication.
Knowledge of engineering design principles and standards.
Ability to lead a small project.
Commitment to quality, safety, and design excellence.
Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.
