The Corporate Communications Strategist 3 contributes to developing and executing internal communications strategies and initiatives to drive employee engagement by connecting employees to company’s vision and strategy.
The Corporate Communications Strategist 3 supports the Internal Communications Manager and partners with business functions such as Human Resources, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Talent Inclusion, Corporate Impact, Facilities, Technology and Ethics & Compliance. Also provides support for administration and distribution of e-newsletters.
Must be onsite 3 days a week or more as needed to support events or projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of comprehensive internal communication strategies and initiatives, focusing on enterprise content creation, event organization, and executive communications for Human Resources, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Talent Inclusion and Ethics & Compliance and Technology.
Manage our Human Resources and Ethics & Compliance communications including supports enterprise initiatives such as Connected Conversations, GAS Mentoring Program, National Intern Day, Engineers’ Week, and more.
Responsible for creating captivating and visually appealing content for various platforms using generative AI, Firstup, Canva or similar tools.
Serve as a resource and consultant to individual departments to review their communication messages and methods.
Write, edit and proofread employee news stories for the company intranet and employee mobile app by coordinating appropriate approvals from key business partners for internal and external dissemination (social media).
Develop and edit a variety of internal communication materials, including but not limited to talking points, emails, newsletters and promotional materials, to support company initiatives and enterprise events.
Conduct ongoing communication audits to evaluate effectiveness, receptivity, and recall of current communication methods and take appropriate action based on the audit results. Looks for opportunities to automate communication processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Required):
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a communications role.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines.
Understanding of strategic communication practices, including digital, media and social media engagement.
Strong project management skills, with a track record of efficiently managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Comfortable handling ambiguous situations and capable of identifying effective solutions.
Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
