Immediate W2 contract position available in Birmingham, AL.
Estimated Duration: 9 Months

Job Description / Desired Qualifications:

JOB SUMMARY:
  • Supply Chain Management (SCM) Support Specialist role will serve as support to the transaction teams.
  • This position will provide daily support by performing various duties that utilize our contracts and sourcing support systems and business processes as detailed below.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred Job Experience
JOB EXPERIENCE:
  • Supply Chain related experience
  • Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment
  • Experience with working with and maintaining data and document sharing sites
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Self-starter
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communications (both written and verbal)
  • Strong computer skills working with Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Must demonstrate strong internal customer focus in commitment and value
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with short “turn around” times and handle multiple customers/projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational skills to plan and manage assigned workload and customer expectations effectively to meet internal business unit requirements.

  • Available to travel (occasionally) as needed which may require an overnight stay
  • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license
KEY JOB RESPONSBILITIES:
  • Supplier Registration adds, changes, etc. associated with Supplier Information and Process Solutions for team.
  • Insurance Certificate Tracking and Escalation Renewals. (Service Contracts)
  • Drafting and processing low-risk documents, e.g. statements of work, change orders, contract amendments, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Software renewals (Enterprise Only)
  • Reporting and coordination with business units/contract agents for Maximo Contract records “Expiration/Review Dates” to amend, extend, or terminate.
  • Master Contract compliance document updates (i.e. Supplier Contractor Compliance Background Form and Contractor Statistical Data (EMR))
  • Provide ad hoc support for special projects when required or necessary.
  • Lead contract coordination and management for complex projects.
  • Manage and coordinate contracts for various projects and departments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters.
  • Play a key role in contract negotiation and drafting.
  • Monitor and track changes to contracts, including amendments.
  • Negotiate and finalize complex contracts.
  • Collaborate with legal and procurement teams on contract matters.
  • Assess and mitigate contract-related risks.
  • Provide guidance on contract-related issues to project teams.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive contract database.
  • Develop and implement contract management strategies.
  • Analyze and evaluate contract performance and compliance.
  • Assist in contract dispute resolution efforts.
  • Mentor junior contract coordinators.
  • Assess and mitigate high-level contract risks.
  • Oversee contract compliance and performance.
  • Resolve escalated contract disputes and issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement in contract management processes.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in contract administration.
  • Provide training and guidance to contract coordinators and project teams.
