Immediate W2 contract position available in Birmingham, AL.
Estimated Duration: 1 year

Job Description / Desired Qualifications:
  • Take a lead role in providing advanced administrative support to the team, leveraging 6-10 years of experience to ensure smooth operations and efficient processes.
  • Independently manage complex calendars, schedules, and appointments for senior executives, optimizing their time management and prioritizing critical tasks.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings, conferences, and events, including logistics, agendas, and follow-up actions, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Conduct research, gather data, and compile comprehensive reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism, always maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
  • Assist in budget management, expense tracking, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing exceptional communication and interpersonal support.
  • This position will provide general administrative support for DES and Joint Use.
  • Job duties include Joint Use billing, data entry, creating reports, processing expense reports, scheduling departmental meetings and handling logistical arrangements, booking travel arrangements for team members, assisting with payroll processing or corrections, processing PO and non-PO invoices, assisting in the company Storm Center as needed, monitoring CAMP invoices, creating and sending department communications, managing and ordering office supplies, assisting the PD Corporate Safety Committee, and supporting other safety initiatives such as fire drills, first aid kits, and prescription eyewear.
  • This position will be expected to provide support for special projects or requests as needed.
