Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Data Solutions Developer to design, build, and support reporting, analytics, and application solutions that connect business operations with technology.
This role partners with stakeholders, developers, data engineers, and end users to understand business needs, integrate data, improve visibility, and deliver solutions that support decision-making and operational performance.
Core Responsibilities:
Reporting, Data Integration & Application Development
Integrate and consolidate data from enterprise systems to support reporting, analytics, and business applications.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, APIs, web applications, and data-driven solutions that improve business visibility and access to information.
Partner with stakeholders, developers, and data engineers to define requirements, validate data accuracy, resolve quality issues, and optimize solutions.
Apply modern development practices to deliver secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable enterprise solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years of experience in software development, business intelligence, reporting, application development, or a related technical field.
Experience developing web applications, APIs, reporting solutions, dashboards, and business systems.
Experience integrating, validating, troubleshooting, and consolidating data from multiple enterprise platforms.
Application Development Skills:
Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, modern web application development, Blazor, and REST-based solutions.
Familiarity with microservices, distributed architectures, GitHub, Azure DevOps, source control, Azure-hosted solutions, and cloud application deployment.
Data & Reporting Technologies:
Strong SQL development, data analysis, data modeling, troubleshooting, validation, and integration skills.
Experience with Power BI, Databricks, enterprise data warehouses, lakehouse/cloud data platforms, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise reporting and analytics applications, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Azure services, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, semantic models, modern data architecture, and Agile delivery.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused solutions, manage multiple priorities, support process improvement, and deliver high-quality results
Work Environment:
This hybrid position is based in Birmingham, Alabama, with remote and on-site collaboration.
Periodic on-site presence and occasional travel may be required for stakeholder engagement, workshops, testing, training, and implementation activities.
