Immediate W2 contract position available in Birmingham, AL. Estimated Duration: 1 year
Desired Qualifications:
The Drafter 2 position requires 2-5 years of drafting experience.
An associate’s degree in drafting and design is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
CAD drafting of transmission line centerline right-of-way, boundary, topographic, and land tie surveys.
This position will be responsible for interpreting and writing “metes and bounds” or “centerline” descriptions for assigned projects.
This position will support the survey field crews and office personnel by, but not limited to, researching existing survey and real estate records, contacting local and state agencies for right-of-way information, and transmitting completed projects.
