Job Summary: The Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Facility Manager in the efficient operation of the facility and the Data Hall. This position involves analyzing complex data sets to provide actionable insights that enhance operational performance and decision-making processes. The Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that optimize facility management and data hall operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret data related to facility operations and data hall performance.
Identify trends and patterns to support strategic planning and operational improvements.
Collaborate with the Facility Manager to implement data-driven strategies.
Assist in the development and execution of projects aimed at enhancing facility efficiency.
Provide technical support and training to staff on data-related tools and processes.
Job Requirements: Education / Experience:
Four-year degree in a related technology field with 2+ years’ relevant experience, OR
Two-year degree in a related technology field with 4+ years’ relevant experience, OR
3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field, with a focus on facility management or data center operations preferred.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Proven track record of using data analytics to drive operational improvements and efficiencies.
Familiarity with data management and data governance practices.
Experience in a cross-functional team environment, demonstrating effective collaboration and communication skills.
Hands-on experience with data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
Knowledge of facility management systems and processes, particularly in relation to HVAC and UPS systems.
Experience working with HVAC systems, understanding their impact on data center operations, and using data to optimize their performance.
Familiarity with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and the ability to analyze data related to power management and reliability.
These qualifications ensure that candidates have the necessary background and skills to effectively support the Facility Manager and contribute to the efficient operation of the facility and Data Hall, with a specific focus on Power Generation, HVAC and UPS systems. Adjust the qualifications based on specific organizational needs or additional responsibilities..
Proven track record in support of problem resolution and project implementation is expected

Ability to appropriately utilize documentation tools as required by specific job (CAD, VISIO, etc.)

The Infrastructure Analyst job requires the ability to occasionally drive long distances, travel overnight, be subject to 24×7 call out, work shifts greater than 8 hrs, lift / carry items up to approx. 45 lbs, climb stairs / ladders, and work in areas requiring specific safety measures such as working in tight spaces, protecting against electrical hazards and working at elevated heights.
