Warehouse Coordinator 1

Immediate W2 contract position available in Savannah, GA.

Job Description / Desired Qualifications:

• 1-3 Years of related experience.
• High School Diploma.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely loading & unloading warehouse materials utilizing a forklift.
• Assist Sr. Storekeepers with putting away materials.
• Warehouse and yard housekeeping.
• This position consists of loading, unloading, sorting, stacking, identifying material and cleaning yards, warehouses and job sites.
• Candidate must have the ability to operate a forklift.
• Candidate must be able to perform heavy lifting, kneeling, squatting, twisting and have the ability to climb a ladder.
• Candidate must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.

SKILL SETS & EXPERTISE:

• Forklift certified.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to get along with others.
• Ability to effectively work with a team or independently.
• Ability to multitask.
• Self-starter, proactive.

Assignment Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:30pm.
• Candidate must be willing to work on-site 5 days a week.

Manager note:

• Candidates need to understand that this is not an indoor warehouse position only.
• Much of the work is outdoors on the materials yard.
• Housekeeping duties are a priority as well as loading & unloading materials.
